This screen allows users to test the speed of the database connection between a user's machine (network client) and the database server which houses the PensionSoft databases. Any latency between these machines can have a negative impact on application performance due to the high volume of information transmitted between each.

To initiate a test, press the Start button. A series of tests will then be run and a score will then be provided between 0 and 100.

If you received a low test score, review the network architecture for components, such as a firewall, that may be bottlenecks for database traffic.
