A Database Capture preserves the sponsor participant population used for a valuation.
Database Capture
A Database Capture holds the participant population constant while plan coding or assumptions are reviewed; plan benefit coding and Sponsor Assumptions remain separately selected inputs.
Create a new capture after participant status, dates, earnings, service, benefits, contributions, beneficiary data, or grouping fields change. Reuse the same capture for a controlled comparison in which only plan coding or assumptions change.
Capture dependency: deleting a capture also removes valuations that depend on it. Preserve the capture when its historical results must remain reproducible.
