A Valuation Provision supplies the benefit-component structure effective for a valuation date.

• Effective Date: The first valuation date for which this Provision and component list apply.
• Plan Valuation Liability Items: Lists each Valuation Provision Item under Item Name and Decrement.
• Add / Delete: Adds a valuation liability item to the provision or removes the selected item.
• Excel: Opens the provision item list in Excel.
• Employee Contributions: Projects future active employee contributions for Funding and Accounting results. Their present value is reported separately and the current-year amount offsets gross normal cost. This formula is separate from the component-level Return of Employee Contributions Balance.
• Filter (optional): Within Inactive Benefit Override, identifies stored inactive benefits whose future payment pattern is replaced. Blank applies to all stored inactive benefits.
• Annual Benefit: Within Inactive Benefit Override, defines the complete replacement annual benefit pattern for the selected inactive benefits.
