Valuation captures preserve the participant data used by saved valuation calculations. This screen displays the captures already created for the selected plan or sponsor and allows captures to be added, described, edited, or deleted.

• Existing Captures: displays all valuation data captures already created for the selected plan or sponsor.
• Creation Date: Displays the date the capture was created.
• Comment: Displays the description entered when the capture was added.
• User: Identifies the user who created the capture.
• Count: Displays the number of participant records included in the capture.
• Add: starts a new valuation data capture for the selected sponsor and opens the description prompt.
• Description: enter the comment used to identify the capture. Include useful details such as the valuation date, purpose, and whether the data is preliminary, corrected, or final.
• Edit an Existing Description: double click a row in Existing Captures to open and update its description.
• Delete: deletes the selected data capture after confirmation. Any saved valuations that reference the capture are also deleted.

Note: To preserve saved results, before deleting a capture, confirm that any valuations using it may also be deleted.
