Advanced settings control portal presentation, repeated-date processing, and the Formula Derived Item's behavior in actuarial valuations.

• Do not allow dates past Valuation Date for VBO: When Vested Benefit Obligation is being calculated, caps the formula's calculation date and payment start date at the valuation date.
• Round all dates to nearest birthday: During valuation calculations, rounds dates referenced within the formula to the nearest participant birthday.
• Benefit Base (optional): Optional formula representing the benefit base for this item. Component attribution can re-evaluate the base and implied rate at the applicable measurement dates.
• Unit Credit Liabilities: Controls Formula Derived Item dates during UC calculations. No dates may go past valuation date caps the calculation and annuity commencement dates at the valuation date. Calculation date extends beyond valuation date allows the calculation date to follow the projected evaluation date.

• Do not process additional calculation dates: Reuses the result when a calculation evaluates the item across multiple calculation dates. Applicable only when the formula is invariant by calculation date.
• Do not process additional account dates: Reuses the result across multiple account dates. Applicable only when the formula is invariant by account date.
• Do not process if: Skips the formula when the selected Formula Derived Item satisfies the configured comparison and value.

• Display: Determines whether and when the item is calculated and displayed on the portal.
• Display Index: Controls the item's ordering among displayed items.
• Handling Zero Values: Controls portal presentation when the formula result equals zero.
• Group Name: Places the item in the named portal group.
• Portal Caption: Label displayed with the value.
• Category: Formats the value as General, Number, Currency, or Percentage.
• Decimal Places / 1000 Separator / Symbol / Negative Numbers: Controls numeric precision and presentation.
• Convert to text using: Displays the title returned by the selected Text Conversion Definition or supported key mapping instead of the numeric result.
