File Ribbon Commands
Use these commands to connect, open, create, save, print, close, and manage DB Precision files and sessions.
Connection
- Connect to Server: Connect to a DB Precision database server.
Open and create
- Open: Open an existing DB Precision item.
- Open Person: Open the file-selection screen with Person records displayed.
- Open Sponsor: Open the file-selection screen with Sponsor records displayed.
- Open Plan: Open the file-selection screen with Plan Documents displayed.
- Open Worksheet: Open the file-selection screen with Worksheets displayed.
- Recently Opened Items: Reopen a recently used item from one combined list when Group items by type is not selected in Options. The maximum number displayed is also controlled through Options.
- Grouped Recently Opened Items: When Group items by type is selected, the File menu displays separate lists for Recently Opened People, Recently Opened Sponsors, Recently Opened Plans, and Recently Opened Worksheets. System Administrators also see Recently Opened Users and Recently Opened User Groups.
- Browse: Open any existing item through the Open screen.
- New: Choose the type of DB Precision item to create.
- New Person: Open the New Person Wizard for the active Plan Sponsor.
- New Sponsor: Create a new Plan Sponsor.
Files and session
- Save: Save pending changes for the active tab.
- Save All: Save pending changes for every open tab.
- Print: Print information for the active tab.
- Close: Close the active tab.
- Close All: Close all open tabs.
- Disconnect from Server: Disconnect the currently signed-in user from the database server.
- Options: Open the user options for the current DB Precision login.
Application
- Exit: Close DB Precision.
