The Interest Rate Details screen defines the discount basis selected as the minimum or maximum funding interest rate.

• Description: identifies the interest-rate basis on the Basic tab.
• Fixed Rate: applies one level discount rate when the same value is entered for all duration segments.
• Post-decrement / Post-retirement Rates: supplies rates for the 0–4, 5–19, and 20 or More Years duration segments.
• Published Funding Segment Rates: retrieves the applicable published funding segment rates and corridor.
• Published Lump Sum Segment Rates: retrieves published lump-sum segment rates for the applicable lookup month.
• Published Yield Curve: selects an IRS or supported FTSE spot-rate curve.
• Custom Segment Rates: accepts user-entered first, second, and third segment rates.
• Rates Vary by Years from Valuation: selects rate sets according to the number of years from the valuation date.
• Rates Vary by Calendar Year: selects rate sets according to calendar year.
• Rates by Year: displays and configures the rate sets used by the selected year-variation method.
• Lookback Months: moves the published-rate lookup month back by the selected number of months.
