DB Precision can be used to send out emails in certain situations. This includes Worktrack as well as portal notification emails.

To do this, you should first create one or more email accounts on your email server for this purpose. Then, you should use this screen to specify those parameters.

• Outgoing Mail Server: Enter then name of the outgoing SMTP email server.
• Port Number: Enter the port number of SMTP email server as a number.
• Display Name: Enter the display name for this email account (will show as the name of the sender in all emails).
• User Name: Provide the user name of the account (should include domain name).
• Password: Enter the password for the specified user account.
• Use SSL encrypted connection: Check this box if information is to be transmitted over an SSL connection.
• Send Test Email: Use this section to send a test email to the email address specified using the settings provided.
