Service Reported Amount
A Service Reported Amount row converts an amount or hours-equivalency pattern into service within each service subperiod.
Source and allocation
- Use Reporting Periods / Reported Amount Name: Measures the selected Reported Amount within each service subperiod.
- Use Hours Equivalencies: Converts time to standard hours using the selected monthly, semimonthly, weekly, daily, or working-day equivalency.
- Override values with Formula Derived Item: Replaces applicable actual, projected, or all Reported Amount values with the selected formula result.
- Additional Amounts: Adds up to two additional Reported Amount sources before conversion.
- Periods Receiving Allocation: Limits the row to the selected first, interim, final, or other subperiod types.
- Combination Type: Adds the converted result to or subtracts it from service for the subperiod.
- Prorate: Splits an amount spanning multiple subperiods in proportion to time.
- Start Date / End Date: Allocates the full amount to the subperiod containing the amount's start or end date.
- Start of Reporting Period / Date Received: Allocates the full amount using the reporting-period start or Date Received.
- Show error if more than one reported amount in a period: Creates a validation error when multiple values for the source fall in one subperiod.
Conversion
- No Conversion: Uses the allocated amount directly as service.
- Table Conversion: Maps amount thresholds to service values using the displayed grid.
- Ratio Conversion: Divides the allocated amount by a configured denominator, subject to the full-unit and zero-unit thresholds.
- Conversion Ratio Denominator: Fixed value or selected Reported Amount used as the divisor.
- Value above which a full unit is earned: Fixed value or selected Reported Amount at which the converted result becomes a full unit.
- Value below which no unit is earned: Fixed value or selected Reported Amount below which the converted result is zero.
- Adjust values for partial periods: Prorates the corresponding denominator or threshold for a partial subperiod.
- Partial-Period Adjustment Rounding: Rounds the ratio-conversion adjustment used for a partial subperiod.
- Per-Period Service Minimum / Maximum: Applies lower and upper limits to the converted service result.
- Per-Period Rounding / Repeating Decimals: Rounds each subperiod allocation using the selected type, unit, and precision.
Elapsed-time minimum and banking
- Elapsed Time Minimum: Compares converted service with elapsed-time service and applies the configured minimum.
- Calculation Method / Value: Defines the elapsed-time convention and any required day or working-day threshold.
- Credit through End of Day / Weekend: Includes the end date or extends a Friday stop date through Sunday when measuring the minimum.
- Only applies if partial period: Limits the elapsed-time minimum to incomplete subperiods.
- Reported Amount requirement: Applies the minimum only when the measured amount reaches the entered threshold; the threshold may be annualized for a partial period.
- Accumulate / bank excess amounts: Moves qualifying excess amounts to a bank for use in later service subperiods.
